Can I port my own number?

At this time we do not have the ability to port numbers that you currently own. This may be available in the future so stay tuned.

Can I change my number after claiming it?

If you accidentally claimed a number you do not wish to own, you can reach out to [email protected] for help. We can detach the number so you can claim a new one.

Do I get to pick my own are code?

Yes! Search your area code after clicking "pick a different one." If there is not one available, please wait and one will refresh in a day or so.

Does it record your calls?

Yes! Linq Phone will record your calls as long as you have this setting turned on. You can find the setting by going to the Linq Phone tab, click the 3 dots in the top left, and click Settings.

Does this automate texts for your?

At this time it will provide suggestions for you to use from your snippets or its knowledge. We plan on adding the ability for automated texts in the future so stay tuned.

Does this have call forwarding or rerouting?

Currently it doesn't have the option to always route to a different number, but it does have the ability to add a Fallback number in case the Linq Phone number is unreachable. You can find this in the Settings.

Can I use this number for whatsapp or other encrypted messaging apps?

Yes you should be able to use this for these apps.

How does it connect to my Linq account?

The number you get assigned will be responsible for texting follow-up messages to your new connections from your Linq page. This initiates and starts a conversation thread in the Linq Phone tab so you can always keep track on this lead's progress and reach out at any time. It also helps document your lead and provides transcription of your calls with this number.

Does this have caller ID?

At this time we do not have personalized caller ID, but we plan on adding this in the future. If they save your contact with this number, you will show up as You on their phone. Make sure you have the setting to make this the primary contact number in the Settings.

What are the AI features?

Right now we offer AI call transcription and summary. The AI also will provide suggestion responses within the conversations. It will pull up snippets you have created as well as AI suggested responses.

How do I manage conversations?

You can manage your Linq Phone number conversations all within the Linq app. Just click on the middle tab in the app (the one with the Phone icon).

Does this have call transcriptions?

Yes as long as you have this setting toggled on to record your calls.

Can I edit the follow-up message it sends?

Yes! You can do so in the Pages section of your app. It is using the default follow-up message after setup, but this can be personalized at any time. Just click the 3 dots button at the top of your page, click Edit Follow-Up message, and continue to edit there.

Does AI follow up for you in conversations?

At this time AI will not automatically follow up with ongoing conversations. Your page will send an initial follow-up message after they become your contact in the Linq app, but it will not automatically continue the conversation. This may come in a future update though so stay tuned.

What is Sarah?

Sarah is your assistant within the Linq Phone tab. This helps you get to know Linq Phone and can answer any general support questions about the app. You can call or text Sarah for help!
