0:01 : Hi, I'm Brandon with Linq Support, and here I'm going to go over how to set up a Zapier workflow with your Linq account.

0:08 : First things first, you want to go to your menu section, and then you would go to your integration section as well.

0:14 : If you don't already have a Zapier key displayed, it'll show Request a key. You click that and request the key for it to be provided for you.

0:23 : Alright, once you have it, you will copy, and then you'll go into your Zapier account. All right, you want to create a new zap and the trigger will be the Linq account.

0:39 : So we find Linq. We choose the event, the only one right now is when a new contact is created. So we select that, continue and we're going to choose an account.

0:51 : If you don't already have your account connected, you would click create a new account and provide your API key. I already have mine connected so we're just going to select and go along with it.

1:03 : Continue and test the trigger. All right so this is finding some test contacts from within my Linq account. All you have to do is just keep going with that test contact.

1:15 : If you need one with more details you would find a new record and use that one as your test contact.

1:21 : This is used to show you which details you're pulling in from the trigger to the action. So I'm going to do an example with Google Contacts.

1:33 : Say if you're does connect with a lot of CRMs that are options on here. So choose the one that's best for you.

1:41 : You'll connect the account after you choose what the action is. The action here we're going to create a new contact.

1:50 : And we're going to continue. I've already signed into my Google account. When you, if you're not, you'll do the same thing.

1:57 : You'll just change and connect a new account. Once it's connected, you'll continue the next step. This is where you're deciding what information from Linq is going into which section of the Google contact.

2:12 : So first name we want to provide first name. Middle name there is no middle name on this contact or there's no middle name field from links so that usually would not be used.

2:25 : Last name here and so on and so forth. Anything that Linq does have you would map out here if there's anything that we don't have.

2:36 : Just leave it blank. We're just going to go ahead and fill this out as we need to. Company. Email. This one does not have the email on the test context.

2:49 : So we're just going to leave that blank for now. Phone number. It did have a phone number. Alright, it was a mobile, as we can see, mobile number.

3:02 : Any additional ones there address, so you would put the, let's see, address they provide right there. These aren't individual fields within links, so I will pull over as one big address on the street part right here.

3:23 : That can be edited later but it's just a matter of how that's formatted on one app to the next app.

3:31 : All right any sort of URLs you've got lead sources, website, different information like that. You're just mapping that over to say what I want it to do in the Google context.

3:45 : Once you have that all entered we're just going to go with what we have here. I'm going to hit continue.

3:48 : This is going to give you an example of what's happening with the information in the test record and what we're doing in Google with that test record.

3:57 : Anything that's empty right here shows right there. We're just going to skip the test and we're going to publish.

4:07 : Alright, so I've already gone and added a new test contact to my Linq account after this was published. And it looks like it did a successful run of this zap for your fresh.

4:18 : Alright, this was our successful run that happened. We can go in and we can see the report here. So the data out was the contact information that I entered into this manual contact on my account.

4:33 : And that should have successfully linked over to Google. All right, so this is the data end from linking the data out to Google.

4:41 : If I go to my Google account, go to the contacts. All right, here's some of these test contacts I've been doing.

4:51 : There's the one that just came through on that Zapier run. All right, so that is submitted. It looks like my second example also went through.

5:02 : There's that one. My Test Contact 2. So it looks like it does take about a minute. After you get a new contact on the page, it's not going to be immediate.

5:13 : The Zapier program does need about a minute to run and successfully complete this task. But once it does, it will show this on the run here.

5:21 : As you can see, it just a few minutes in between, but hey, it works. And you got automatic contact syncing over to your Google account.

5:30 : If you have any issues with this, you can also reach out to Zapier support. They have a really helpful support system as well.

5:36 : They can help you manage your workflow and try different things out if you need to. If you have any other questions about this, please reach out to us at contact at linkapp.com and let us know what we can help with.

5:48 : Thank you very much for watching and have a great day.
