The tapping functionality of Linq uses NFC technology, which works with nearly all Android phones, and iPhones 7 and newer.

A few important points that might be related to the problem you're experiencing:

1) Metal phone cases can interfere with the NFC signal. Wood, plastic, and silicone are okay.

2) The receiving phone must be unlocked and awake for your Linq product to work

3) If someone has an iPhone XS/XR or newer, the notification should simply appear toward the top of their phone

4) If someone has an older iPhone, but has the newest iOS installed, they can pull up the NFC reader in Control Center and then tap your product. Here's the NFC button:

5) If someone has an older phone, they can open the camera and point their camera at the QR code on your Linq product or in the "Share" section of your profile.

6) Some Androids may need to turn on NFC in Bluetooth & device connection within device settings

PS. For iPhones, the NFC module is near the top 1/4 of the device (front or the back), so you'll want to bring your Linq product up to that spot. For Androids, it is usually further down on the phone.

The Most important information for Premium cards is where you must point your NFC reader on this metal card. The card is metal, so the only place the manufacturer can put the NFC antenna is this outlined square. If you try to use the other side of the card, the metal will interfere and not read. So, this side and this location on the card is the only place the reader can pick up the signal.

Please let me know if this doesn't help. If you can't get it to work still, please send us a video to show so we can be sure.
