There are a couple of routes that users can take to get started with Linq.

Route 1

Without a Linq Product or Before Your Linq Product Arrives.

Steps:

  1. Download the Linq App from the App Store or Google Play Store.

    1. Or you can go to linqapp.com/welcome

  2. Click Create Account.

  3. Enter your full name, and provide a Mobile Phone Number and the email you use the most.

    1. The phone number and email address will be used for logging into your account. If you don't provide a mobile number, you won't be able to login via Text.

    2. Logging into your Linq account will involve providing the email or phone number used here, where a login code will be sent to provide the next screen. Once the correct code is provided, you will be logged into your account.

  4. The next screen will ask for a Profile Photo.

    1. This will be downloaded as the picture for your contact card when people save your contact from your page, and it will show as the main Profile Photo on your page.

  5. The next screen will ask for Job Title, Organization/Company, Location, and your Industry.

    1. These are also details that will be downloaded with your contact as well as display under your Profile Picture.

  6. You may be offered a trial to one of our subscriptions. This is optional and you can dismiss to continue as a free account. This trial can be found later in the Menu tab.

  7. The next screen is for Product Activation, but without a product, you can click to skip this step.

  8. Now you will be brought to the Home Screen where you will find many Quick Actions, a For You section, some How To Videos in the Get to know Linq section, and a reward section.

  9. You should now finish setting up your page to get it share ready.

Route 2

With a Product via the 1st Tap or Scan

Steps:

  1. Tap your product via the NFC chip (iPhone NFC is at the top end of the phone, Android is usually in the middle of the back of the phone)

  2. Click the notification.

  3. This will take you to a page with an image of the product. Click the blue button that says "Activate My ____".

  4. This will take you to the App Store or Google Play Store to download the app.

  5. Once downloaded, click Create Account.

  7. The next screen will ask for a Profile Photo.

    1. This will be downloaded as the picture for your contact card when people save your contact from your page, and it will show as the main Profile Photo on your page.

  8. The next screen will ask for Job Title, Organization/Company, Location, and your Industry.

    1. These are also details that will be downloaded with your contact as well as display under your Profile Picture.

  9. You may be offered a trial to one of our subscriptions. This is optional and you can dismiss to continue as a free account. This trial can be found later in the Menu tab.

  10. The next screen will let you Activate your product you began this process with.

  11. Click Begin Activation

  12. Choose either the NFC Reader or QR Scanner to activate your product.

    1. NFC Reader will have you tap the card with your phone's NFC reader (same location as mentioned in Step 1)

    2. QR Scanner will have you scan the QR code printed on the product with your camera.

  13. A successful scan or tap will bring you to the same activation page (step 3) on which you started this process.

  14. Now click "Activate My _____" button. A Success: Product Activated screen should show. Click Dismiss.

  15. Now you will be brought to the Home Screen where you will find many Quick Actions, a For You section, some How To Videos in the Get to know Linq section, and a reward section.
