The introduction of Linq Phone has altered how Snippets are utilized for texting. This applies to users who have upgraded to Linq One and claimed a phone number. If you do not have Linq Phone, Snippets functionality has not changed and you can refer to THIS ARTICLE on how to use Snippets.

Below are the steps to use Snippets after you have upgraded to Linq One and claimed your Linq Phone number.

Steps

  1. Open the Linq app to your account or login. You can also go to linqapp.com/welcome on your computer.

  2. Go to the Contacts section and select a contact you wish to text a snippet to. (You can also start by opening a current conversation from your Linq Phone tab to use a snippet.)

  3. Click Text on the contact page or click on the conversation in which you wish to add a snippet.

  4. Now you will be in the start of a conversation, or you will be viewing the current conversation you clicked.

  5. Click the AI button to the left of the text field. It looks like a small group of stars.

  6. You will see an option to "Use a message Snippets". It will also display some recommended responses if you are opening an ongoing conversation.

  7. Select one of your Snippets to use and it will populate in the text field.

  8. Hit Send.
